Quilting Adventures- Hill Country Style Quilting Fall Seminars

Class and registration information, as well as a registration form, for our fall seminar series, Fall into Quilting Adventures , is now available on our Fall Seminar Information page. No matter which one of the nationally known quilting instructors you choose to spend your time with, you are sure to feel motivated and rejuvenated by the end of the week.
     

Quilting Adventures 5-day seminars are offered in the spring when Texas Hill Country hospitality can be enjoyed in the pleasant weather.

The 2009 spring seminars are in New Braunfels, Texas, just minutes from San Antonio. We will have use of a beautiful Hill Country resort where students will enjoy a taste of Hill Country hospitality. March 26, 2008: The 2008 Quilting Adventures seminars are a blissful memory and we are already getting ready for the 2009 seminars. The 2009 seminar information is now available throughout this site - take a look at our Seminar Information page for all the details of the 3 weeks of seminars we have planned for spring 2009.


     

Young or Old, Learn New Quilting Skills...
from fellow students and nationally known instructors. Are you: an avid quilter in need of quilting inspiration from a top notch quilting instructor, a beginning or intermediate quilter desiring to broaden your piecing, applique, machine quilting, designing or embellishing skills? If so, consider attending one of our upcoming quilting seminar weeks! Whatever your age and quilting skills, you will be among friends. We provide a welcoming and supportive learning environment for both teachers and students.

Traditional quilt piecing, handwork, applique, machine quilting, embellishment and art quilts will all be offered at the 2007 Quilting Adventures quilting seminars.

 

Each seminar will have teachers with a wide range of specialties – traditional piecing, handwork, applique, machine quilting, embellishment and art quilts. Read about the classes we'll be offering on our class descriptions page. We've scheduled 3 sessions for 2009.

First session instructors include: Joyce Becker, Sally Collins, Jan Krentz, Katie Pasquini Masopust, and Sylvia Pippen.

Second session instructors include: Carol Doak, Rosemary Eichorn, Libby Lehman, Barbara Olson, Louisa Smith, and Jane Townswick.

Third session instructors include: Jeanne Beck, Gail Garber, Norah McMeeking, Kathy Sandbach, Jane Sassaman, and Lorraine Torrence.

Our small classes (about 20 students) encourage quilters of all skill levels, from confident beginner to advanced, and all ages -- everyone has a chance to learn and improve their skills from these instructors. Quilting Adventures Spring 2007 quilting retreats will include machine quilting in addition to other kinds of quilting workshops during 5 day quilting retreats.
 

In addition to plenty of quilting and learning time, there will be fun evening activities to expose you to the "flavor of the Texas Hill Country". There will also be an on-site fabric store provided by the wonderful Creations of Kerrville, Texas. They are sure to have everything you need for your classes as well as yards and yards of gorgeous fabrics and basketfuls of quilting embellishments.
