Quilting Adventures Spring 2008 Seminars Photo Gallery
Words just can't describe how much fun, creativity and relaxation students and instructors experience at the Quilting Adventures - Hill Country Style seminars. It's also difficult for the seminar attendees to see all the great projects during our one-hour 'walk-about' at the end of the week. So again this year we've prepared a series of photo galleries to document these inspiring 5 day events.

Be forewarned, the hundreds of photos of quilters at work and their beautiful works in progress presented here will probably charge your own creative spirit and make you want to retreat to your sewing room for a week or two of sewing. There are 16 photo galleries below, so you'll want to grab a cup of coffee, sit back and relax as you peruse the galleries. You might even have to tackle these galleries in a couple of sittings.

Each photo gallery features a series of related images (as labeled below the images below). Just click an image below to get started reviewing that gallery which will open in a new screen. The galleries also include an optional automated slideshow feature so you can just sit back and watch as the entire gallery is presented to you. As a bonus, the galleries include an option to download an image so that you can print it on your computer, as well as an Order button so that you can order prints through Shutterfly's photo printing service. If you need tips on how to interpret the gallery icons to use these features, just jump to the Photo Gallery Helpful Tips section at the bottom of this page.

Slideshow Option
At the top right of each gallery page is an icon that will start an automated slideshow of all the images in that gallery. Just click that icon (labeled in the sample screen below) . Depending on your Internet connection each slide will show for 2-4 seconds. During the slideshow, that icon turns into a square dot. Click the square dot to stop the slideshow at any time.

Photo Download Option
If you'd like to print any image by itself, without having to print all the thumbnails around it, click the Download Image button (labeled in the sample screen above). The Download Image icon will cause a full 6" by 4" version of the image to appear in a window by itself. You can print the image from that window, or right-click the image and choose "Save Image As" or "Save Picture As" to save it to your computer. Close the browser window with this single image to return to the gallery images.

Shutterfly Photo Ordering Option
The gallery tool we've used to produce these galleries includes a handy link to the Shutterly photo printing service. Click the Order button just below the photo (see sample screenshot above) to take advantage of this service. Note: Quilting Adventures is not affiliated with (and gets no proceeds from) the Shutterfly service, so we cannot help you with any issues that might arise from the service. All the photo gallery images will print at a 6" x 4" photo size, but they will not print at larger sizes, because they do not have a high enough resolution.
