Beautiful Conference and Lodging Facilities
T Bar M is a peaceful 160 acre retreat in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. This exclusive resort is well-known throughout Texas and is designed specifically for conferences of 150-200 with 13,000 sq. feet of meeting room space. You will feel pampered by the attention and friendliness of the wonderful staff.

Rooms include coffee maker, hair dryer, telephone and TV, wi-fi access, private bath, and individual climate controls. Seminar pricing is based on double occupancy in rooms which have either two double beds or two queen beds. Roommates will be assigned, but we will honor requests when two participants ask to room together. Single occupancy is available for an additional fee (see the registration form for pricing).

Pictures of the nicely appointed, spacious rooms are available on the T Bar M web site. All student rooms are in the Country Inn. To see picture of these rooms follow their web site menus to "The Hotel " and then click the options for Double Beds or Queen Beds. Instructors stay in the Sunday Houses.

For those who like to sew at all hours, classrooms are conveniently located near the lodge rooms for an easy walk along the pathways. Resort staff will be on duty around the clock to ensure safety and security.

If you want a break before, during or after quilting, on-grounds activities available at the resort include swimming, tennis, basketball, ping pong, hot tub, horseshoes, weightlifting, or strolling the paths through 100-year-old oaks.

Take time to relax, share a cup of coffee and conversation with a friend, or simply enjoy the countryside and great weather.

We want our students to be able to concentrate on quilting and having fun - so of course, 3 meals per day are included. Each meal will be served buffet style so that those with dietary preferences or restrictions can always find a wonderful set of choices.

T Bar M offers many relaxation options for our quilting seminar attendees.

Special Activities

Our quilting seminar instructors have authored many quilting books.

Most of our instructors have authored books and some are working on new books. You can count on instructor book signing events during the week.

Sunday evening we’ll have a Powerpoint™ presentation where you’ll learn about each instructor, catch a flavor of their teaching style and get a peek at their work. We’ll also have evening retrospectives by each instructor for a more detailed review of what has inspired them, their publications and, of course, a look at more of their quilt samples.

If you'd like details about each seminar weeks' schedule, visit our Daily Schedule. You'll find we've allowed 6 hours daily for the classes and in the evenings there are many opportunities to visit with other attendees, sew on your own, or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.

We are really looking forward to one of our highlights - a "Texas Evening on the Back Porch" where you'll get a taste of Texas barbeque and enjoy a little entertainment.

Important Policies
There are a few policies that potential seminar attendees need to be aware of:

  • Smoking - T Bar M allows smoking only in outdoor areas - not in classrooms or sleeping rooms.
  • Alcoholic beverages - T Bar M sells beer/wine by the glass in the conference center. If students bring their own, it can be consumed in their sleeping room only, not in public spaces.
  • Perfume - In consideration of students with allergies, wearing of perfume is not allowed.
